One of the most famous spots to take some beautiful pictures in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
This tower (we call Elevador Lacerda) you can see in the picture is a set of elevators used daily by citizens to move between the upper town and lower town. You can photograph the view from both sides of the tower, but the right side is more spacious.

Try to get the Golden Hour or Blue Hour there.

You can have easy access to this site, even if you are coming from the lower city using the elevator (paying a small sum of money) or you can arrive by car, taxi or bus.

That's definitely a pretty nice view, thank you for sharing this spot Ana! Is it also possible to get to the tower on the left side to have an "undisturbed" view to the harbor? Best wishes from Germany, Manuel

Thank you, Manuel! I did an update and created a more detailed description of the picture. To answer your question: on the left side of the tower is also possible to shoot, but with certain limitations because the available space is a bit narrow. Then, depending on the photo, you may have elements blocking part of the view as the tower or some trees but its possible to have a nice view to the harbor and the ocean fortress (called Forte São Marcelo) near it.
