Brazil Morro Alto Alegre
A peaceful rural landscape surrounded by rolling hills of Minas Gerais in Brazil and open fields, offering unobstructed views of the night sky. The elevated terrain and distance from major urban centres make this spot ideal for Milky Way and nightscape photography.
During clear nights, the galactic core becomes visible, stretching across the sky, while distant city lights create a subtle glow on the horizon, adding depth to wide-angle compositions.

Travel Information
From Jacutinga city center, drive southwest following Av. Francisco Junqueira toward the MG-459 highway in the direction of Pouso Alegre or Bueno Brandão. After a few kilometres, turn onto rural roads leading up to the hills, following signs for Morro Alto Alegre or Estrada do Morro Alto. The final stretch is an unpaved dirt road, so reduced speed is recommended. The drive takes approximately 15–25 minutes.
