Brazil Nova Friburgo Country Club
A 19th-century estate turned private club, set in a landscaped park covering roughly 194,000 square meters, designed by French landscape architect Auguste Glaziou. The property was originally built as the residence of Antônio Clemente Pinto, the Baron of Nova Friburgo, intended to host balls, dinners, and concerts. The formal club was founded in 1957, though the estate's historical and cultural value dates back to its 19th-century construction, leading to its heritage listing by IPHAN (Brazil's national historic preservation institute) in the 1950s.
