Buzludzha is a historical peak in the Central Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria and is 1441 metres high (4728 ft). The UFO that the old communist party landed there is an incredible site already on your way up.

You can easily park right there.
In the winter it gets very cold, and snowstorms can happen with little to no warning.
When you hike up the mountain, please make sure to come prepared.
