The Muratovo lake (2.230m) is a beautiful mountain lake in the middle of the Pirin National Park.

Photography Tips

Check the actual drone laws. As per 2023, there were no restrictions of flying.

Get the drone right over the lake. If you do a vertical classic top down, you will find the lake having the shape of a heart. Who doesn't love the Pirin Mountains?

Travel Information

Parking spaces at the Vihren Hut. The hike is fairly marked and takes around 1,5h to get to the lake (287m elevation gain, 4,6km return).
