Asen's Fortress (Asenova Krepost) is a medieval stronghold in the Rhodope Mountains of Bulgaria, located about 2-3 km south of Asenovgrad and 20 km from Plovdiv. Set on a high, rocky ridge, it dates back to the 6th century (Byzantine era) and was significantly rebuilt by Tsar Ivan Asen II in 1230.
