Canada Mt. Boswell - Crypt Lake Trail

One of the top rated trails in Canada, located across the lake from the Waterton Townsite. The upper portion of the trail boasts a massive 600 ish foot waterfall (was just a trickle during this season), but also impressive views of mount Boswell.

Photography Tips

Pack a normal wide angle, shoot raw (always if possible for photos you want to edjust for maximum effect), and frame your landscape with leading lines, stacked layers, and a balance of light and contrast.

Travel Information

Drive/bus to Waterton, then either take the chartered boat across the lake (round trip ticket in 2015 cost $22CAD), or find your own kayak/canoe across the lake. Follow the Crypt Lake trail.
