Photography Tips

This image of the lighthouse was taken at sunset. I had initially wanted to photograph the setting sun but when I looked behind me I knew this is the shot I wanted showing the rugged shoreline and the lighthouse. This site can get a little busy at sunset.

Travel Information

Site is located in Killbear Provincial Park, near Parry Sound Ontario. You must enter the park (there is a fee if your not camping here) and drive to the end of the road where you will find a parking lot. The trailhead is at the end of the parking lot. Short 5 min walk along the trail.
