Canada Saskatchewan Landing

Along Alberta’s Highway 93, between Jasper and Banff, is a bridge called Saskatchewan Landing. The view of the Saskatchewan River from the bridge, with channels running through small islands, and sandbanks covered with trees, is striking. It originates from a Rocky Mountain glacier, called, not surprisingly, the Saskatchewan Glacier.

Travel Information

The bridge is on Hwy. 93 (Icefields Parkway) about 1.5km south of the turnoff to Hwy. 11 (David Thompson Highway).
