Canada Saskatchewan Landing

Along Alberta’s Highway 93, between Jasper and Banff, is a bridge called Saskatchewan Landing. The view of the Saskatchewan River from the bridge, with channels running through small islands, sandbanks covered with trees, is striking. It originates from a Rocky Mountain glacier, called, not surprisingly, the Saskatchewan Glacier.
The bridge is on Hwy. 93 (Icefields Parkway) about 1.5km south of the turnoff to Hwy. 11 (David Thompson Highway).
