The board walk at the south end of the town of La Baie on the Saguenay River and Fjord is an absolutely perfect spot to capture great photographs of Snow Geese as they migrate southward in the falls

Photography Tips

Go the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend usually between the 10-15th of October. Set yourself up on the boardwalk behind the Musee du Fjord, it offers a great vista to see the Snow Geese rest before they head south. The Saguenay River Fjord a unique geographic and biosphere treasure. Serval miles south where the Saguenay River joins the St. Lawrence River estuary you can go whale watching.
