From late November to the end of January, the eagles come to feed. Many people come to watch the eagles play and munch on dead salmon.

Photography Tips

You can shoot eagles and other birds. Also, the mountains scenery is fantastic. As well as this shot, I also shot a 26-image panorama of the mountains across the river.

Travel Information

You will need a car to get here as it is at least an hour's drive from North or West Vancouver. Bring a lunch or something to snack on. The cafe just north of this location is used as the exterior of Jack's Bar in the Netflix program, Virgin River. The opening drone shot was done around this area.
