Canada Lake Louise, Banff
Lake Louise is a wonderful place - try to come early in the morning and pray that there is no wind, so the lake becomes a mirror. Keep in mind that this place is extremely touristic during the day. The typical view looks a bit remote like a lake in the mountains that you can hike to but quite the opposite is the case with huge parking areas and lots of visitors.
Photography Tips
The best photo advice is to be here outside the touristic hours. Sunrise or sunset during summer (because it's later) is usually a great time or even nighttime to photograph the Milkyway above the lake.
Travel Information
Walk to the spot. Parking spaces are marked on the map. Get there very early, like an hour before sunset. Otherwise, you will not find any parking spots. Parking is payable from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm - for evening shots, you might get lucky and find a spot before the sun goes down.
