Canada Cabot Tower, Signal Hill
Signal Hill is a National Historic Site on the eastern shore of Canada's province of Newfoundland. It is well worth the short drive (or walk) from the centre of St John's, an eclectic and beautiful city. The site sits atop a hill exposed to the wind and weather coming in from the Atlantic Ocean - over which it looks.
Photography Tips
Check the weather in advance - storms can make for dramatic photos, but the site is quite exposed.
Travel Information
Getting to/from Signal Hill is easiest by personal vehicle or rideshare. Walking is possible - though the nearest transit stop is ~2km away from the site, at the bottom of a steady climb.
