Canada Dinosaur Trail North Loop
Drumheller is situated in an area where a particularly large number of dinosaur fossils have been found. That is why the town has proclaimed itself the Dinosaur Capital of the World.
From Drumheller, Highways 838 and 837 loop north-west and back as the Dinosaur Trail. Along the northern loop (north of the Red Deer River), there are several particularly impressive dinosaur sculptures and a ‘dinosaur transporter’.
