The National Stadium, also called the "Bird's Nest" because of its architecture, is the Olympic Stadium of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, which opened on June 28, 2008. It is part of the Olympic Park. The stadium was the venue of the 2015 World Championships in Athletics.
