Jinshangling is a great location to explore the Great Wall. Large parts of the wall are nicely restored. At the entry is a little hostel which is perfect as starting point.

Photography Tips

Best time for photography is at sunrise. About 30-40 minutes must be planned to climb to the best spot. So starting at night about 40 min. befor sunrise is recommended (lamp is a must).

Hi Frank, No problem! The pollution is quite bad in Beijing since I came back from the US for the Christmas Holiday. I have not been out at all to take photos.

hi gunnar, thanks for the comment. you are right, the pinwas not correct and still is not. i am still in china and its too difficult by ipad and the slow network here. i need to correct it when i am back home.
