China Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster
Tianluokeng tulou cluster is one of the better known groups of Fujian Tulou. It is located in the village of Tianluokeng in the town of Shuyang, Nanjing County, southern Fujian province.
The Tulou cluster was built in the first year of Qingkangxi (1662), and the formation of the entire group lasted 304 years.
The complex consists of a square Tulou and circular ones, Ruiyun Building, Hechang Building, and elliptical Wenchang Building. The remaining four buildings in the middle of the square building are surrounded by the layout of the mountain, which is figuratively nicknamed "four dishes one soup"
In 2008, Fujian Tulou, including this Tulou cluster, was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, becoming the 36th World Heritage Site in China. The buildings are now used as hotels, restaurants, or still living space for the towns residents.
I pinned the location based on Satellite view (due to the shift in maps)

Photography Tips
The image was shot from a viewing platform just above the cluster. You can see the platform directly on your way to the Tulou. There is usually entry fee, but at that time (spring season, shortly before sunset), the gates were open and you can just walk in
Travel Information
I visited the cluster self-driving. There are parking spaces available near the platform. Otherwise, you can book a tour through the region, which will show you different clusters.
You have to buy a ticket in order to enter the Tulou region (approx. 80 Yuan for one day as far as I can remember; you can book tickets on Trip.com)
