Croatia Pile Gate

The gate is the main entrance to the Old Town. It is located on the western part of town walls. It will also take you straight to the main, most famous street: Stradun – the town’s main promenade.

Pile Gates was also used as one of the filming locations in Game of Thrones.

Photography Tips

If you're here during high season, it's advisable to wake up early and walk around in Old Town before the tourists arrive. Such a nice place with a ton of photo opportunities when you have the place to yourself.
