THE UNFINISHED GOTHIC CHURCH OF the Virgin Mary in Panenský Týnec is reportedly one of the most magical places in Czechia. Construction on the building began in the early 14th century and most likely stopped after a fire ravaged its neighbouring monastery in 1382.

The place is available 24/7. I recommend visiting early in the morning until there are too many people.

Parking about 10m away. The place is basically in the middle of the village. By the way, they also have excellent coffee there ;-)
