Small river in the National Park Sumava in the Czech Republic. Surrounded by beautiful woods, easily accessible by an easy hike from the town of Strazny.

Photography Tips

Autumn is a great season here because the woods are mixed cinifers with leafy trees which makes nice contrasts in colors. Also, the sun comes up late (around 7:50 in October) so you have plenty of time to get on the spot in time.

Travel Information

Travel to Strazny town, then you can go further into the woods where you find a parking lot belonging to a restaurant with guesthouse Lipovy Vrch. You should not have any trouble leaving the car here although this is a private area. I parked here 3 times with no trouble.
