Czech Republic The bastion at 'Hrádek'
The bastion at Hrádek, which remains a ruin to this day, is the remnant of the original circular tower with embrasures. It was surrounded by a moat and palisade. Its age dates back to the mid-15th century. Above the town, which lies in a valley, there used to be three such fortifications. Only this one has survived.
