Czech Republic Jewish cemetery

The Jewish cemetery in Třebíč is one of the largest and best preserved Jewish cemeteries in the Czechia. It is located on the northern slope of Hrádek and covers a total area of 11,772 m². There are 2,600 gravestones, the oldest of which, still legible, dates back to 1631. Approximately 11,000 people are buried here. Many important personalities are buried in the cemetery, for example Rabbis J. J. Pollak and S. Pollak.
