Czech Republic Šabachův Park
Šabach Park is a small park in Prague 6, Dejvice. Named after the writer Petr Šabach (1951–2017) and notable for its fountain with horse statues, among other things. There is a two-storey underground car park beneath the park and fountain.
Fountain: The cascade has a total of six steps, with water jets complementing the first and last steps. The bottom is lined with small round stones. There are two rows of trees on either side of the water surface. Two wooden footbridges and one shorter pier lead across the cascade. Three horses pass through the cascade; their bronze statues are life-size, measuring approximately 145 cm at the withers. According to the author, they are intended to remind us that horses used to be a common part of everyday life in the city.
