Czech Republic Rozhledna Císařský kámen

The lookout tower at Císařský kámen sits on the hill of the same name (637 m above sea level) in the municipality of Rádlo. The current structure, built with a steel core and wooden cladding, reaches about 21 m in height and is accessible by 112 steps. From the top you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding region — including the Ještěd ridge, Jizerské Hory, Krkonoše, the city of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou, and Česky ráj with the Trosky ruins.

Golden hour (sunrise or sunset) gives the wooden and steel structure a warm tone and soft shadows.
Morning light from the east beautifully illuminates the tower’s front if you’re shooting from the Milíře trail. You can also take nice pictures from the top of the tower.

By bike or foot: A green-marked tourist trail runs from the village of Milíře to the tower. There are also routes from Rádlo itself or from the Jeřmanice station area.
