The Goethes lookout tower is the highest and the oldest viewpoint in Karlovy Vary.
The observation tower at the top of the Eternal Life hill was opened in 1889. Housed in a neo-Gothic building, it contains a café and a viewing platform offering views of the Ore Mountains, the Slavkow Forest, and the Doupovské Vrchy hills.
