The most beautiful publicly accessible cave in the Moravian Karst.
Balcarka is one of the caves with exceptionally rich, diverse, and colorful stalactite decorations. The flat ceilings, formed by bench-like limestone separation, are decorated with countless long hollow straws, stick-shaped and carrot-shaped stalactites, and sinter waterfalls. In 1956, the Moravian Karst was declared a protected landscape area, and Balcar rock has been a nature reserve since 1998.
In the second half of the 19th century, it became the subject of research. Rich traces of human activity in the Late Paleolithic period were uncovered – fire pits and many stone and bone tools. Thousands of skeletons of mainly small animals and even a human tooth have been preserved in the sediments.

A wide-angle lens with the smallest possible aperture is ideal.
