Czech Republic Tesařovská Chapel
Set on a hill above Kořenov, Tesařovská Chapel is a peaceful viewpoint and one of the area's most distinctive landmarks. Its unique octagonal shape and white exterior stand out against the surrounding forests of the Jizera Mountains. Built in 1909 and designed by architect Otto Bartning, the chapel is surrounded by a small historic cemetery and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. It is a popular stop for hikers, cyclists, and visitors exploring the region.
Photography Tips
Visit during golden hour for warm light and softer shadows on the white facade. Use a wide-angle lens to frame the chapel with the scenic Jizera Mountains.
