This is a HUGE overhead bridge span that connects two parts of the medieval castle. Photos don’t do the scale justice.

Photography Tips

Depending on the time of day, it can be tricky to get the structure exposed correctly while not overexposing the sky. I used a wide angle lens for this shot. You may also benefit from the use of a tripod and/or ND filter depending on how you decide to photograph the scene. I did not use those for this.

Travel Information

There is parking a short walk behind this scene but I didn’t utilize it. If you are staying in the town, it is much more simple to simply walk there. Follow the paths to the northwest most bridge that crosses the river and then follow the path up. Cross under this structure and then turn around back towards the town.
