Czech Republic Interior of the National Museum in Prague

If you are interested in architecture, interiors and photographing with an ultra-wide lens, the National Museum is an absolute must. The building itself offers many details, but the main hall with its monumental staircase, glass ceiling and dome deserves the most attention.

The richly decorated dome creates an almost perfect symmetry and is surprisingly comfortable to photograph, as most visitors avoid the exact centre of the space. The view of the glass ceiling above the staircase and the main staircase itself is a little more difficult, as there are considerably more people moving around during the day.
