At the edge of Marstal Beach on the island of Ærø, a row of small, colorful beach houses stretches along a narrow sandbar, surrounded by calm Baltic waters. Marstal Beach is located just outside the town of Marstal, one of the most picturesque and relaxed places on Ærø. You can park at the small lot right next to the beach, which also serves as the designated drone takeoff area. From there, it’s just a short walk to the shoreline. The beach houses are private, but they can be admired freely from a respectful distance. Marstal itself is easily accessible by car or bike once you’re on the island, and the town’s cozy harbor and maritime museum are worth a visit as well. Whether you come for photography or simply to enjoy the calm morning light, this spot perfectly captures the peaceful charm of island life on Ærø.
