Denmark Kegnæs Fyr
The first lighthouse on this site was built in 1845 and was thus the only lighthouse in the area to have been built before the change of German rule in 1864. The current round tower replaced the original structure in 1896 and stands 18 metres tall.
Travel Information
It should also be noted that the storm surge of 20 October 2023 caused damage to the coastal edge; parts of the site have been closed off ever since due to the risk of landslides.
