Travel Information

On the way to the Galápagos Islands through Ecuador's mainland, there are two cities to choose from for stopovers: Quito and Guayaquil. Both are worth a stop. Guayaquil is Ecuador's largest city, has more frequent direct flights to the islands and is closer than Quinto.
There are two major airports in the Galápagos: Seymour Airport (serving Baltra Island) and San Cristobal (on Cristobal Island). The arrival and departure airports should be chosen according to the accommodation and the starting point from the ship respectively. The islands are served by boat.
