On the eastern side of the Old Market area of Sharm El Sheikh, there is a sprawling cafe area called "Old Egypt" build into a hillside in a series of terraces. These provide a great vantage point to photograph the Sahaba Mosque and the Old Market area from the east.

Photography Tips

It's worth the price of a coffee to get access to this area to get some shots, there are lots of levels to work with. It can be tricky to balance getting a wide view and avoiding foreground clutter, but it is possible to get a nice teelphoto shot of the mosque itself.
