Ever wanted to photograph a heart-shaped lake? It's honestly only visible from the air but the lake itself is surrounded by a forest and still worth a visit on foot to enjoy some time by the shore.

Photography Tips

Come here for sunrise and capture the golden morning light. In case of high air humidity, you can get the chance of capturing morning fog as well. I took a panorama photo (9 single images) to capture the entire lake + surrounding forest.

Travel Information

Park your car at the trailhead and follow the trail towards the trail. If you come here for sunrise you should bring a torch and some breakfast you can enjoy by the lake. The trail is pretty much even and can be done by beginners and families.
