Dallol is a surreal, highly acidic hydrothermal field and cinder cone volcano located in the Danakil Depression of northern Ethiopia. Situated more than 100 meters below sea level, it is famous for its unearthly alien landscape, featuring vibrant neon yellow, orange, and green mineral deposits, bubbling sulfur springs, and toxic salt lakes.
