Falkland Islands (Malvinas) Sunrise at West Falkland Islands
The West Falkland is the wilder, more remote half of the Falkland Islands, defined by rolling hills, rugged coastlines, and vast open spaces shaped by wind and sea. Life here moves slowly, with scattered farms and untouched landscapes where wildlife thrives undisturbed. Along its shores, you’ll find colonies of Rockhopper penguin, Magellanic penguin, and soaring Black-browed albatross.
Photography Tips
Use your time on your boat and wake up early for sunrise before the breakfast is ready. Is always worth it to enjoy the silence on board with your camera and for your feeling that you have some nice first shots on your sd card before the day with the operations really begins.
