Faroe Islands Mykines, Faroe Islands
- Please to see the GPS coordinates & weather for this photo spot
Mykines is the most difficult island to reach in the Faroe Islands. Many rare bird species can be observed. The cliffs are dramatic!
Here, all the equipment is worth it. Telephoto lenses for wildlife, especially bird lovers get their money's worth. Wide angle should not be missing for the scale and the huge long cliffs. Beware of the wind, fog and heavy rain!
Only in reasonably good weather there are local ferries that offer trips. There are few sleeping facilities on site.
