This beautifully shaped road can be found close to the capital of the Faroe Islands: Tórshavn. It's fun to drive on, and you can continue following this road straight toward the Atlantic Ocean.

You can photograph this road with a wide-angle lens or a drone since it´s very narrow and hard to capture with a longer lens. Maybe places a person or car on the road when taking a photo to add some sense of scale to the scenery.

Travel Information

You can park your car just a curve above the snake road on the side without blocking other vehicles. When I visited this location a few years ago, just a few other cars showed up, and I had this location to myself most of the time. Its also worth continuing driving to the end, where you can find another site I have marked.
