This small cabin is located on the ski hill in Salla, Northern to Kuusamo. Especially in winter, it's completely frozen in and worth a visit. If you like to ski you won't be able to miss it anyways by using the slopes. If you don't ski you can also walk up the slopes in the morning to enjoy the sunrise up here!

Photography Tips

I used a wide angle and visited during sunrise to capture this beautiful and colorful morning light. Using a high aperture you can create such sun stars as well.

Travel Information

You can either visit by using the ski slopes during the day or walk up the ski hill in the early morning hours with snow shoes to enjoy the sunrise!
