Ukko-Luosto is the second highest peak in the region with 514 meters and offers views of the entire central Lapland region. In winter, there are many trees at the top that are completely covered in snow until March, making it a real winter dream.

Photography Tips

Go for sunrise. If you use your drone, check the temperatures, especially the wind conditions. Also please have a license with you.

Travel Information

There are several parking lots directly in Luosto. If you want to photograph the elevation from somewhere else, you can either park the drone on the side of the road or take a tour of the neighboring hills by snowmobile like I did. Hiking to other hills is not possible during the winter.
