Pyhätunturi is the highest "mountain" in the region with 540 meters and differs from the Luosto area, which is about 30 minutes away by car. The tree species are different here and the ski area is larger. More types of skiing are offered here than in Luosto, like here the wilderness skiing. There are also several hiking trails for snowshoeing in absolute solitude.

Photography Tips

In the few clearings of the dense forest, the drone offers a perfect option to show the vastness of the snowy landscape with its dense forests. Make sure that your rear detection is activated so that you don't lose your drone. You should also have a valid flight permit.

Travel Information

Parking is possible at the marked point of the ski resort. You have the option of hiring skis there and going on a tour yourself or booking it with a provider such as Bliss Adventure. You will then be guided for several hours and shown the technique and many beautiful routes.
