Finland Kasavuori, Espoo

Kasavuori in Espoo, Finland, is a popular viewpoint in a rocky hill next to a bay between Espoo and Kirkkonummi. It offers some Sunday hiking with possiblity to view sailing boats. Dog walkers and others use the area too.

This is summer spot in my book. If possible take a polarizer filter with you to minimize the reflections from the sea. Most likely you are not alone but not issues in sight. In the summer sun is shining from early morning to evening. You are naturally facing westish but south and north are accessible too. East is the small pine and spruce forest you were climbing through. I wouldn't come at night. Hard to hike and nothing to see.

Kasavuori is easily accessible by metro and bus. Car is possble too but parking slots are nearly non-existing. Use public transportation instead. Some hiking is required so wear good boots.
