Finland Ukko-Luoston Maisematupa, Luosto-Pyhä National Park

The Scienic hut at the top of Ukko-Luosto is the perfect place for a rest during your hike, for sunrise, sunset and for Northern Lights encounters.

Inside, the hut is furnished in fine wood and offers a warm place to escape the cold. When the northern lights come out, the surrounding area offers many great motifs with a great view in every direction.

Northern Lights setting: wide angle, most open aperture that is possible with your lens, tripod and lots of batteries! Make sure your settings are set to manual focus and look for the right sharpness. The image stabilization on the lens should also be switched off.

From the marked hiking point it takes about 45 minutes up to the hut. The trail is an easy one and in winter you can use snowshoes you want to. You should take hiking poles with you for stabilization.
