Finland Rykimäoja near Kopara park, Luosto-Pyhä National Park
Reindeer are part of Pyhä-Luosto National Park — quiet, resilient, and deeply connected to the Arctic landscape.
In the fells and old pine forests around Luosto, you’ll often see them moving slowly through the terrain, feeding mainly on lichens, mosses, and low vegetation. Many of these animals are semi-domesticated and belong to Sámi herders, yet they roam freely across vast areas, which makes encounters feel completely wild and natural.

Photography Tips
Go in a low perspective for some nice unsharp foreground. This gives your perspective a great bokeh and makes it more interesting. Choose an open aperture.
