Finland Myllykoski Rapids
Myllykoski is a series of rapids on the Kitkajoki River near Kuusamo in northern Finland, where the water flows through rocky terrain surrounded by coniferous forest. A suspension bridge spans the rapids directly, offering a close-up view of the water from above.

Aim for an overcast sky to avoid harsh shadows. Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities.
Travel Information
This spot is located 45min from Ruka. Leave Ruka heading toward Kuusamo, take Route 5 (E63) north. In Kuusamo, take Route 869 toward Oulanka / Salla. Park at the GPS pin.
There is a very short walk from the parking lot (5–10 min).
