Finland Oulanka National Park

This small cabin is located in the Oulanka Nationalpark near Kuusamo. It´s a great place to visit in different seasons for hiking etc.

Bring a wide angle lens to capture the entire pond. It's better to come on a day which isn't too windy or after heavy rain to get a nice reflection on the water.

From Kuusamo, drive north on Highway 5 (E63) toward Ruka and Kemijärvi for about 37 km. Then turn left toward Kitka/Tolva (road 9471), continue through the Tolva area, and follow the signs toward Riisitunturi. Then hike the Myllykoski Rapids trail : once you see the bridge, leave it on your left hand and kept walking. You'll see after 2min a view opening to the pond.
