Finland Aarnilampi, Luosto-Pyhä National Park

Aarnilampi is a peaceful little lake surrounded by dense forests and typical Lapland wilderness. Its small jetty creates a simple but beautiful viewpoint over the water, especially during calm autumn mornings or beneath the Northern Lights. It is an easy spot to reach and a great place to slow down and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the area.

Aarnilampi is a great spot for drone panoramas, especially when the lake is calm and the surrounding forest creates clear layers in the frame. Try a horizontal panorama from a slightly elevated position, keeping the jetty as a visual anchor while capturing enough of the lake and forest around it.

Aarnilampi is located about 2.2 km from the centre of Luosto, along the road towards Pyhä. Turn onto Aarnilammentie and follow it to the lakeshore.

There are only a few parking spaces, so you may need to park along Ukko-Luostontie and walk the remaining distance.

The jetty is right next to the swimming area and you can take a cold bath.
