Finland Moor in Pyhä-Luosto-Nationalpark, Lapland (autumn)
The moor landscapes of Pyhä-Luosto National Park offer a completely different side of Lapland, with open wetlands, low vegetation and small pools scattered between the forests. In autumn, the changing colours create beautiful textures and contrasts across the landscape. It is a quiet place to slow down and look for small details that are easily missed when focusing only on the bigger views.
Photography Tips
A straight top-down perspective works especially well over the moor, turning the landscape into an abstract pattern of water, vegetation, paths and autumn colours. Fly high enough to simplify the scene, then look for natural lines, curves and isolated pools that create a strong composition. Try several heights and slowly adjust your position rather than relying only on the drone’s automatic framing. Small changes can make a big difference from above.

You can hire mountain bikes from the marked town center and explore the area in the national park much more easily than on foot.
