Aarnilampi Lake near Luosto is a peaceful spot surrounded by the quiet forests of Finnish Lapland. Especially in autumn, the calm water reflects the golden and red tones of the surrounding landscape, creating a beautiful setting for slow walks and landscape photography.

Use the shoreline and the structure of the lake as a leading line trough your images. Try to be here for sunset or even a bit later. It's the best atmosphere. Use a wide angle lens for more landscape in your framing.

There are only a few parking spaces, so availability is limited. The official Luosto information also says you can leave your car along Ukko-Luostontie and walk the remaining distance. Just drive around the lake and look for a free space. Otherwise you can leave your car close by the main parking space near the ski lifts and walk the 2km.
