From the top of Pyhätunturi, you can enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views across the vast forests and rolling fells of Finnish Lapland. On clear days, the panorama stretches all the way to Lake Pyhäjärvi, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Especially during autumn, the colourful forests and changing weather create a unique atmosphere from this elevated viewpoint.

Use a telephoto lens like the Canon RF 100–500mm to capture details along the shoreline of Lake Pyhäjärvi. Zoom in on individual trees, small groups of trees or interesting patterns along the water to create layered compositions.

There are several ways to reach the top of Pyhätunturi, depending on your preference and the season. You can hike along the marked trails, cycle on designated mountain biking routes or take the Pyhä Express chairlift when it is operating. Check the seasonal opening times of the lift and local trail conditions before setting off.
